Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

To support planning, execution, commissioning and maintenance of building, utilities and infrastructure systems for Trim, Chassis & Final (TCF) assembly operations during Greenfield project implementation and plant operations.

Roles and responsibilities:

Greenfield Project Phase:

  • Support execution and monitoring of TCF building construction, utility installation and infrastructure development activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules, quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate installation and commissioning of compressed air systems, power distribution interfaces, HVAC systems, water systems, firefighting systems and associated utility infrastructure required for equipment installation and Start of Production (SOP).
  • Work closely with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and contractor teams to ensure timely completion of project activities, manufacturing readiness and closure of punch points.
  • Ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, statutory requirements, EHS guidelines and quality standards during project execution and commissioning activities.

Operations & Facility Management Phase:

  • Support maintenance and upkeep of TCF buildings, utility systems and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities, coordinate breakdown restoration, facility modifications and utility improvement initiatives to enhance equipment availability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor utility consumption, equipment performance, maintenance KPIs and contractor performance, and support implementation of energy management, reliability improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Coordinate vendors and AMC service providers, maintain maintenance records and MIS reports, and support expansion projects, statutory compliance activities and EHS requirements.

Experience

5+ years in industrial utilities, facilities or infrastructure projects. Greenfield project exposure preferred

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
