Sr. Manager - Building, Utilities & Other Infra for Common Infra (Civil)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

Lead planning, execution, commissioning and operational readiness of Common Infrastructure facilities for the Greenfield Automotive Manufacturing Facility and ensure reliable operation, maintenance, compliance and future expansion support for plant-wide infrastructure throughout the asset lifecycle.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution and commissioning of Common Infrastructure facilities for the Greenfield Automotive Manufacturing Facility, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgetary targets and SOP requirements.
• Drive development of industrial buildings, administrative facilities, warehouses, roads, drainage systems, utility corridors, parking areas and common infrastructure networks across the plant.
• Review civil designs, layouts, technical specifications and engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, statutory regulations and future expansion needs.
• Manage consultants, contractors and service providers to achieve project objectives related to safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and execution progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion of infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering and Project teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration and operational readiness.
• Support statutory approvals, regulatory inspections, commissioning activities and infrastructure handover prior to Start of Production (SOP).
• Establish maintenance, asset management and TPM systems for common infrastructure facilities and utilities to ensure reliability, safety, cost optimization and long-term operational effectiveness after SOP.

Experience

10 - 12 years in industrial construction, infrastructure development and greenfield automotive projects.
