Sr. Manager - Building, Utilities & Other Infrastructure for Press & Body Shops (Electrical)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

Lead planning, execution, commissioning and operational readiness of Electrical Infrastructure, Power Distribution Systems and Utilities for Press Shop & Body Shop during Greenfield project phase and ensure reliable electrical operations post SOP. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution and commissioning of Electrical Infrastructure and Utilities for Press Shop & Body Shop.
• Ensure electrical readiness for equipment installation, trials, commissioning and SOP.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Civil and Mechanical teams.
• Manage contractors, consultants and vendors to achieve quality, cost, delivery and safety targets.
• Drive installation and commissioning of HT/LT systems, MCCs, PCCs, transformers and power distribution networks.
• Support automation, robotics, welding lines and conveyor utility integration requirements.
• Establish maintenance, reliability and TPM systems post SOP.
• Monitor power consumption, asset performance and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, electrical safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Support future capacity expansion and infrastructure enhancement projects. 

Experience

10-15 Years in relevant field 

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEM / Auto Component / Manufacturing / EPC Projects

B.E. / B.Tech Electrical Engineering
