Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Purpose of the role:
Greenfield Project Execution, Industrial Utility Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Cooling Water Systems, Utility Piping Networks, Material Handling Utilities, TPM & Reliability Engineering, Project Management, Contractor & Vendor Management, Energy Management, Utility Commissioning, Statutory Compliance, Operational Readiness & SOP Support, Infrastructure Expansion Planning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution and commissioning of mechanical utilities and infrastructure for TCF & Aggregates Shop during the Greenfield project phase, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budget targets and Start of Production (SOP) requirements.
- Drive development and installation of compressed air systems, cooling water systems, utility piping networks, ventilation systems, material handling utilities, HVAC Systems and other manufacturing support infrastructure required for TCF and Aggregates operations.
- Review utility layouts, equipment utility requirements, engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, operational needs and future capacity expansion plans.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Civil, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure utility readiness for assembly lines, machining equipment, test facilities, conveyors and production ramp-up activities.
- Manage consultants, contractors, vendors and service providers to achieve project objectives related to safety, quality, cost and delivery while ensuring compliance with approved engineering standards and execution schedules.
- Monitor project progress, installation quality, budget utilization and execution risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure timely completion of project milestones and operational readiness.
- Establish preventive maintenance, TPM and reliability improvement systems for utility assets to ensure uninterrupted availability, improved equipment uptime and optimized lifecycle performance post SOP.
- Monitor utility consumption, equipment performance and asset reliability, and drive energy conservation, cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across TCF & Aggregates facilities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, environmental regulations and utility-related audits throughout project and operational phases.
- Support capacity enhancement, utility augmentation, technology upgradation, infrastructure modernization and future expansion projects in line with business growth requirements.
