Sr. Manager - SQI CFS

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Prepare & monitor MIS for assigned suppliers of Casting, Forging & Sheetmetal (CFS) commodity
2. Review and improve key indicators e.g. % Green channel, % Green channel fluctuation, LR, GR, Disruptive suppliers, field performance.
3. Lead Quality Performance Improvement of assigned Suppliers of CFS commodity & Ensure Zero defect Supplies by initiating actions. 
4. Identify internal & external customer needs and take concrete steps to address these needs at supplier end.
5. Plan & conduct periodic supplier audits - Product, Process & system audits to ensure improvement in Quality Indicators
6. Lead & Monitor VPPAP process of assigned CFS commodity suppliers to ensure FTR development.
7. Upgrade Supplier Capabilities through Formal Training.
8. Provide technical support to suppliers to sustain and continuously improve the quality of components supplied as well as establish process stability / capability.
9. Lead & mentor supplier quality improvement team of Nagpur plant

Education Qualification

BE (Mechanical/Automobile/Production)

General Experience

15-18 Years in Supplier Quality Improvement

Critical Experience

Strong technical knowledge – Casting, Forging, Sheetmetal & Machining Processes, Special Processes - Heat treatment, Priming, Painting, etc.

Knowledge of statistical tools & techniques / Statistical approach

Sound knowledge of metallurgy

Hands on experience in PPAP and Structured Problem-solving techniques
