Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Territory Manager - Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for managing a set of dealerships to achieve various business parameters. Some key deliverables include:

  • Ensuring viable distribution network by appointing dealers and sub-dealers for appropriate market coverage
  • Facilitating and coaching dealers and their staff on implementing various systems and processes
  • Executing local sales promotion campaigns, product launches, and incentive schemes for dealers
  • Liaising with financial institutions for retail financing opportunities

Experience

To excel in this role, you should be an engineering graduate with approximately 4 to 7 years of experience, or a diploma holder with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. Your background should demonstrate:

  • Proven track record in dealer management and achieving business targets
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of dealership staff

Industry Preferred

While experience in the automotive industry is preferred, candidates from related industries such as retail, FMCG, or consumer electronics with a strong dealer management background are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • Minimum of an engineering degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in dealer management or sales roles
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
