Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

DE/STA – E&E
1.    Should have Knowledge for vendor development department functions.
2.    Product knowledge of Construction Equipment vehicles and development process knowledge of electrical and electronics parts 
3.    Evaluate the technical feasibility & manufacturing capability for new product stated in RFQ/SOR/SOW.
4.    Collaborate with COE /CAD designers to determine the viability of product subsystems ( HW/SW.& Mechanical) & interface components.
Monitor & track tooling timelines & progress , ensuring adherence to project schedules.
5.    Responsible for providing support to supplier partners to define part manufacturing processes & its evaluation for meeting cycle time.
6.    Identify & resolve technical issue during the development process.
7.    Coordinate and manage DV/PV testing to meet DVP R&R standards.
8.    Conduct regular APQP for new product & ensure compliance.
9.    Coordinate with supplier partners for documentation, submission of PPAP and joint PTR with SQE
10.    Monitor & control change management and deliver development scope deliverables.
11.    Coordinate & participate with COE, supplier partners & production team for part level calibration & EOL set-up activities.
12.    Responsible for identification and selection of vendors with co-ordinating SSU.
Negotiations with vendors on delivery time as per project requirement. 
13.    Taking a lead role in enriching technical aspects of design and development throughout the product development life cycle around electrical system to meet performance, reliability, quality and cost objectives of the program.
14.    Arrange electrical system parts for proto-type machines; modify parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations
15.    Proactive role in optimizing performance, reliability and cost targets of electrical system through systematic reviews  
16.    Deploy MPDS and MQS all through the product development lifecycle.
17.    Knowledge of SAP-MM module for CDMM function.
18.    Prepare MIS for his/her function and follow-up with all concerned like supplier, SSU, PD, Plant etc. to ensure closers as per project requirement.
19.    Knowledge of Project Gateways for CDMM deliverables. Plan and lead the onsite build activities at all gateways, inclusive part availability, in co-ordination with respective stack-holders.
20.    Timely handover of the project parts to SCM and SQE after part development completion for project closer

Experience

4 to 10 years of experience in vendor development of electrical & Electronics system for construction machnes / heavy vehicles
