Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1.Component Development

• 1.Lead Component development activities for proprietary parts such as

Brake System, Cooling system (radiator, intercooler, Airintake), Drive Lines, Shafts, Axle, Suspensions (Links, Torsion Bar, Shock Absorbers & Leaf Spring), Fuel & Oil Filtration System, Tyres, Wheel Rims,

• Work with design and vehicle integration team to ensure technical feasibility and Compliance with regulations and Internal standards.
• Co-Ordination with suppliers for technical signoff, Commercial synthesis & Development.

2. Material Management & Supply Chain.

• Own the sourcing strategy for all listed proprietary components.
• Ensure timely availability of parts for development and production phases.
• Monitor Supply capacity, lead times and material flow to avoid bottlenecks.
• Drive cost reduction through value engineering, localization and alternate sourcing.

3.Supplier Management

• Identify and onboard capable suppliers with focus on quality, reliability and innovation.
• Ensure material availability to meet production requirements –MM Function
• Supplier Performance improvements- QCD Targets
• Build long-term supplier relationships.
