Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
✔ Well Knowledge In Development of Process and Product for Sheet Metal-BIW Parts
✔ Expertise in Product development activities involving Component Development, Plant Engineering, Production Line Balancing Through Cycle time, Material Handling Planning & Approval, Line Lay outing, Development of new sources (Suppliers selection), Monitoring & Project Coordination and Procurement of materials from sources.
✔ Improve the existing supplier performance in quality, cost & delivery.
✔ Direct& Indirect material Planning
✔ Costing & Budgetting of Sheet Metal, Machined and Casting Components
✔ Negotiate with supplier for tool amortization
✔ Development of BOM Items (Sheet Metal, Castings & Machined Component.
✔ Develop the new supplier & negotiate for best possible prize.
✔ assigning and implementing systems, processes and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of production and enhance operational efficiency.
✔ Managing Process Improvement Teams to drive deployment of Process improvements, Quality improvement using quality tools.
✔ Developing proto parts
✔ Vendor up-gradation thru Technical Assistance & Guidance
✔ Line Lay outing of New Project.
✔ Installation of new project in Plant with all activity.
✔ Increase Productivity with the help of tact time study.
✔ Making Standard Work Instruction of the process & control plan
✔ Knowledge of Teaching & Programming Robots and Hands-On Experience Robotic Spot Welding, Mig Welding, Projection Welding Weld Up Down Trials & Weld Parameter Finalization.
✔ Expertise in VAVE
