Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Achieve and sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintenance performance targets while ensuring adherence to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (SQCDP) objectives.
2. Lead preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for all plant equipment and utilities to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
3. Drive proactive management of manpower, spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources to minimize downtime, equipment failures, and production losses.
4. Establish and sustain robust maintenance systems, SOPs, PM schedules, and operational standards to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing excellence.
5. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, PPC, and EHS teams to ensure smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement in plant performance.
6. Develop team capability through technical training, multi-skilling, coaching, performance management, and succession planning while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
7. Implement and sustain TPM, Predictive Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Automation, IoT, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR, equipment reliability, and overall operational efficiency.
Experience
1.5-10 years of experience in Maintenance Operations within Automotive, EV, Battery Manufacturing, Electronics, or related manufacturing industries.
2. Proven experience in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, TPM implementation, equipment reliability improvement, and leading maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.
Industry Preferred
Battery Manufacturing, EV, Automotive, Auto Components, Electronics, Electrical, and related Manufacturing Industries.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
