Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Excellent knowledge in busbody structure design & Driver Floor/ Ready to Driver (RTD) Design & Development.
• Knowledge of bus body closures & mechanisms.
• Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on any one of BIW systems and their subsystem designs.
• Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on BIW parts and knowledge of designing software with PLM.
• Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.
• Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly -process.
• Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage.
• Should be aware of strength of materials , basic knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming/Joining processes & concepts/master section.
• Checking Feasibility w.r.t Regulations, Manufacturability & Assembly, engagement with CAE team, suppliers and taking countermeasures, confirming testing performance, resolving issues etc. Weight & Cost Management.
• Strong understanding of bus structures, materials, and bus sub-systems .
• Familiarity with all bus related regulatory standards (e.g., AIS, CMVR, UBS etc..) for bus design

Experience

B.tech in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering with 8 to 10 yrs experience
 or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile with upto 10 yrs experience.

Industry Preferred
