Deputy Manager - Vehicle Integration

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1.    Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
2.    Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems. 
3.    Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.
4.    Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
5.    Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
6.    Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
7.    Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
8.    Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
9.    Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
10.    Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.

B.E (Mechanical/Automotive)

General Requirements

Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
2.    EBOM/ MBOM/ SAP BOM/ ADD DELETE expert
3.    Change scope definition preparation, Concept BOM generation
4.    Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates
5.    Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
6.    Knowledge of SAM process
7.    DMU (Digital  Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts) 
8.    Hands on Experience on Catia, Team center PLM & Teamcenter Visualization
9.    Exposure to existing and future Homologation requirements of Commercial/ SUV Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
10.    Hand on experience on coordination with overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design, and verification/validation
11.    Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods
12.    Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools
13.    Hands on experience on Vehicle architecture
14.    Understanding on Vehicle Performance Simulation
15.    Overview about Validation Testing & Monitoring
16.    Experience on GNOVAC, Build & Validation Concern Tracking & monitoring.
