Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager- MQA TCF

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Must be from an automotive OEM (Passenger vehicle) company with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing Quality
  • Holding a Degree/Post graduation in Electronics
  • Hands-on experience of automotive electricals, electronics, and software troubleshooting
  • Understanding of ECOS, DTC, wiring schematics, troubleshooting manuals
  • Knowledge/Know-how of vehicle E&E parts and aggregates like ECUs, Body control modules, HVAC system, Lightings, infotainment system, etc.
  • Knowledge of wiring harness layouts - clipping, routing & fouling assessments from thermal & safety point of view
  • Handling of Next customer issues (RFI) - root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment
  • Handling of field concerns - root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment
  • Knowledge of New product development (NPD) process. Should be able to handle FTR related to E&E and software changes
  • Participate in various CFTs like EN, DCP, MPPAP, etc
  • Managing & strengthening of E&E and software checks at EOL inspection
  • Carry out process and product audits as per plan and getting closure of audit observations
  • Ensure the right quality of outgoing vehicles
  • Managing shop Quality indicators
  • Communicate shop/plant actions on product issues to internal & external customers
  • Guide associates in their routine activities
  • Co-ordinate to resolve chronic concerns through the QC story Approach

Education Qualification

The ideal candidate for this role should have a BE/PG in Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

General Experience

The Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager- MQA TCF should have a general experience of 4 to 7 years in Automobile -TCF  Manufacturing Quality Assurance and should have a strong understanding of E&E.

Critical Experience

The critical experience required for this role includes:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing Quality in an automotive OEM (Passenger vehicle) company
