Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Have an experience in working on all the range of commercial vehicles - >3.5T to 55T
2. Understands the vehicle performance related parameters of IC Engine and able to evaluate suitability/selection to vehicle & its application
3. Domain expert in design & development of engine support systems – Air Intake, Engine cooling, Exhaust & Fuel system & Engine Mounts.
4. Should have extensive knowledge on DFMEA & Linked with DVP
5. Should have designed & developed above systems right from scratch till productionization
6. Should have worked minimum 10 years on engine peripheral system design & development
7. Should have thorough knowledge of Truck & bus applications and ability to capture field inputs while designing the system
8. Well familiar with Product development process and should meet all the product quality requirements

General Requirements

• Is responsible to meet Time, Cost & Performance requirements of the engine peripheral systems
• Has worked on IMCR projects and achieved significant cost saving
• Should be able develop technology road map & drive passionately for the execution
• Can analyze the field issues related to PTI aggregates and act swiftly on the solutions (ICA & PCAs)
• Has good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to engine & engine peripheral systems
• Has good knowledge of alternate fuel system and able to drive design and developments. Ex – Diesel, CNG, Hydrogen fuel cell, LNG etc
• Has good understanding of design & quality tools; DFMEA, DVP, SOR, SDS, R/1000, CPU, CAE Process
• Knowledge of IPR is essential
• Must have:OE
