Lead - Marketing & Customer Experience

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Leadership in Design & Engineering Strategy:- Set and implement the overall design and engineering strategy for distributed solar projects (incl. residential), ensuring technical excellence, cost-efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Design Oversight:-Lead the design team in creating detailed system layouts, including module placements, stringing, single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical configurations, and energy yield analyses.Oversee the use of design and simulation tools like PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and other industry-standard software for accurate energy modeling and performance evaluation.

Pre-Bid Design & Technical Support:Work with the business development and sales teams to ensure that all technical aspects of bids are aligned with client requirements and project feasibility. Ensure that pre-bid designs are competitive, compliant with technical regulations, and optimized for performance and cost.

Engineering Execution & Support:-Troubleshoot and resolve design and engineering challenges during project execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Regulatory Compliance & Technical Standards:Ensure all designs and engineering solutions adhere to Indian and international regulatory standards (MNRE, CEA, BIS, IEC) and safety guidelines.Keep the team updated on relevant policy changes and regulatory developments in the solar industry that impact system design and engineering practices.Ensure all rooftop and ground-mounted systems meet safety, structural, and electrical requirements in line with industry best practices.

Innovation & Cost Optimization: -Drive innovation in solar system design by exploring the use of new materials, technology, and system configurations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Client Interaction: -Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (procurement, project management, sales) and external partners (vendors, clients) to ensure alignment on project goals and technical requirements.

Experience

·       Experience of 15+ years with understanding of Solar PV system, BESS Technology 
·       Exposure to Strategic planning, Business Development & Channel Sales is mandatory
·       Should have experience working on SAP/ERP modules 

 

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

·       ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering from a Tier-1 college
