Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Excellent knowledge in bus body structure design & Driver Floor/ Ready to Driver (RTD) Design & Development.

Knowledge of bus body closures & mechanisms.

Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on any one of BIW systems and their subsystem designs.

Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on BIW parts and knowledge of designing software with PLM.

Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.

Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly -process.

Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage.

Should be aware of strength of materials, basic knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming/Joining processes & concepts/master section.

Experience

Min – 10-12 years

Industry Preferred

Automotive, commercial vehicle industry

Qualifications

B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or M Tech

2] Deep understanding of Body architecture, simulations, manufacturing process and validation issues

3] Deep understanding of latest trends in body design, light weighting, and manufacturing process

4] Problem solving methodologies, DFMEA activities.
