Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1] Collaborating with Studio, CME, Manufacturing, CDMM, simulation and other interfacing departments to achieve project deliverables
2] Bringing out key risks in achieving engineering targets with proposed solutions for management direction

3] Achieving the Functional image targets (Crash, durability, NVH, weight) set for Body shell design & knowledge in ECE R26 regulations
4] Interaction with Vehicle integration, CME, and other Body / Vehicle aggregates for integration of parts into the vehicle.

5] Leading discussions with external CFT teams like Design studio, Product planning, CME, Plant teams, Supplier teams, Platform teams etc. 

6] Concerns resolution and at supplier, assembly plant and field during development and post launch. Prototype build design release, build support.

7] Homologation, testing support and resolution of concerns at plant and field level.

8) Developing B C surface from Class A surface and designing required flange, attachment features, welding features.

9] Design of BIW systems which includes inner outer panels of A, B,C pillars, Trunk Lid, Body Side, Front end module, Roof panel, Fenders, Sash brackets, Supporting brackets etc

10] Escalating COE issues and getting resolution with Platform teams.

1] Hands on experience of working in BIW design for Commercial Vehicle applications

2] Deep understanding of BIW architecture, simulations, manufacturing process and validation issues

3] Deep understanding of latest trends in BIW design, light weighting, and manufacturing process
