Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Candidate Should have an exposure in program management, cost reduction ideation and VAVE exposure.
  * Candidate must be good in presentation skills , cost estimation, Value engineering etc.
  * Candidate should be from either consulting background or OEM.
• Chalk out a plan for various ideation initiatives through-out the year, conduct various benchmarking events and workshops and keep idea bank filled with new ideas.
• Prepare project plan for executing cost reduction proposals approved by PDCR council
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure various functional work-streams are executed as per project plan
• Work closely with suppliers in tandem with CDMM for part development stages and to ensure timely delivery/readiness of parts as per project plan
• Work closely with plant team for smooth execution of fitment trials (FTR-1, FTR-2, and PTR etc.,); readiness of fixtures, tools and gauges as maybe required idea to idea at plant level processes respectively.
• Identify risks involved & suggest/work-out/execute mitigation plans along with CFT
• Generate & communicate regular MIS status & maintain all records

Experience

Industry Preferred

All Auto OEMs - 2W, Cars, Passenger vehicles,  Commercial vehicles, Buses, etc.
* Industrial Product OEM like JCB, Tata Hitachi, Komastu, etc.

 

Qualifications

(B.E/B.Tech -Must, MBA or PMP)
