Company:  Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As Area Sales Manager, you will take charge of managing the entire sales process from enquiry to retail, ensuring successful achievement of sales targets. Your role involves planning and executing strategic activations to generate enquiries and driving quality and quantity in test drives originating from multiple enquiry sources. You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy and authenticity of booking data and aligning retail outputs with set targets, maintaining a strong focus on VDN (Vehicle Delivery Note) versus retail ratios.

You will lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance conversion ratios (CVR) and ensure precise and truthful data management within the Dealer Management System (DMS). An essential part of your responsibilities includes forecasting sales and planning for upcoming months, ensuring the sales team is well-prepared and motivated to meet objectives.

Managing dealer working capital, reducing market outstanding amounts, and liquidating aged stock are vital for ensuring financial health and operational efficiency. Accurate forecasting for the upcoming months (N+1) will support inventory and sales alignment.

Collaboration with marketing and operational teams to plan and execute activations will also fall under your purview, contributing to enquiry generation and overall brand presence in the territory.
