Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
- Employee Relations Management: Ensure peaceful and disciplined industrial relations in the Company. Implementation of drives for Vigilance and Improving the connect with employees. Engaging initiatives for cell members.
- Statutory Compliance and Payroll Processing: Benchmarking of salary and wages, proactive identification of initiatives to optimize wage costs, and implementation of LTS terms and conditions. Manpower cost analysis & HR Analytics. Ensuring smooth payroll function and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Talent Hiring (Recruitment of Apprentice and NAPS Trainees): Manpower Planning in coordination with IEE department. Organizing pool and campus recruitment drives, compensation management for trainees, and maintaining good relationships with placement officers and officials.
- Life Cycle Management: Completing joining formalities, on-boarding, issuing letters, and timely completion of continuations & separation processes. Engagement activities, rewards, and recognition for trainees.
- Liaisoning with Government agencies and Coordination: Interacting with Labour Office, ESIC, PF office, PT office, Labour Department, and Government Apprentice Board.
- Employees Engagement Drive: Working closely with DH’s & Shop floor Managers for better deployment, engagement & harmony. Driving R & R initiatives, various engagement initiatives, implementing engagement surveys, and monitoring changes in external industrial relations environment.

General Experience
General Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess 15 years of experience with exposure to multiple locations and states, with preference given to those with multi-location, multi-state exposure.
Critical Experience
Critical Experience:
The candidate must have previous experience as Head of Industrial Relations for a small/medium size unionized plant. They should have experience signing at least 5-6 long-term settlements in such plants and developing/implementing ER strategies at plant level. Strong partnership building skills with local industry, industry associations, labor authorities, and local government bodies are essential.
