Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Territory Manager - Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for managing a set of dealerships to achieve various business parameters such as volumes, market share, collection, deliveries, spare parts sales, etc. Your role will involve ensuring a viable distribution network by appointing dealers and sub-dealers for appropriate market coverage. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the availability of trained manpower in adequate quantity at dealerships and coaching them on implementing various systems for efficiency.

You will also be responsible for facilitating and coaching dealers and their staff on implementing service systems to enhance customer satisfaction. Your tasks will include executing events like local level sales promotion campaigns, product launches, and training dealer salesmen on pre-sales and sales processes, as well as new product features or modifications. Monitoring competitor activities, gathering feedback on the performance of competitor and company products, and designing and implementing incentive schemes for dealers will also be part of your role.

You will collaborate with financial institutions and banks to explore new avenues for retail financing of products, contributing to the overall growth and success of the Farm Division within the company.

Experience

The ideal candidate for this position would be an engineering graduate with approximately 4 to 7 years of experience, or a diploma holder with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. You should have a solid background in sales, dealership management, and customer service in the automotive or related industry. Your experience should demonstrate a successful track record in achieving business targets, building strong dealer relationships, and implementing effective sales and service strategies.

Industry Preferred

Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in the farm equipment sector, would be highly preferred for this role. Knowledge of dealership operations, distribution network management, and aftermarket sales strategies will be advantageous. Candidates with a deep understanding of agricultural machinery, market dynamics, and customer needs in the farm division industry will thrive in this position.

Qualifications

The qualifications required for this role include an engineering degree with about 4 to 7 years of experience, or a diploma with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. You should possess strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively manage dealership networks and drive business growth.
