Senior Engineer - Components

To oversee and manage Sheet metal shop with core knowledge on stretch forming & Forming operations, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of components while maintaining safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management
• Supervise daily activities.
• Allocate jobs to machines and operators based on production schedules.
• Monitor performance and ensure optimal utilization.
2. Quality
• Implement in-process inspection and coordinate with the quality team.
• Address non-conformance and initiate corrective actions.
• Knowledge on AS9001 D requirements
3. Team Management
• Lead and train  stretching operators and technicians.
• Maintain discipline and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Conduct skill development programs for operators.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of  machines.
• Troubleshoot programming and operational issues.
5. Process Improvement
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize cycle times and reduce scrap/waste.
6. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain production records, tool usage logs, and machine health reports.
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports for management.
