Senior Engineer - Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Configuration Identification: Defining, documenting, and labeling Configuration Items (CIs), such as parts, drawings, software, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Change Control Management: Administering the Change Control Board (CCB), reviewing Engineering Change Notices (ECN), and communicating to the respective stackeholders for assessing impact on cost, safety, and schedule.
Baseline & Version Control: Maintaining functional, allocated, and product baselines throughout the system lifecycle, from initial launch through production.
Configuration Audits: Conducting Functional and Physical Configuration Audits to ensure "as-built" configurations as per the requirement.
Data Management & Traceability: Ensuring all engineering documentation, and supplier data are accurate, approved, and traceable.
Process Improvement: Driving improvements in CM workflows, PLM tool utilization, and Lean Engineering practices to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1-3 years in CM, preferably within aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing.
Tools: Proficiency in SAP MM & PP, Microsoft tools
Standards: Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., EIA-649, AS9100).
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality)
