Roles and Responsibilities :
| Lead assembly engineering activities for aerospace structures, panels, fuselage assemblies, and composite assemblies. | |
| Ensure robust assembly process definition, producibility analysis, work instructions, and technical instructions aligned with customer drawings and specifications. | |
| Act as technical authority for assembly lines covering builds, integrations, kits, and AOG deliveries. | |
| Drive assembly industrialization for new and ongoing aerospace programs from bid stage to serial production. | |
| Support business development and estimation activities by providing accurate engineering inputs, cycle times, tooling feasibility, and cost drivers. | |
| Lead preparation and validation of engineering data for global programs such as Dassault, Airbus, Boeing, Sikorsky, RUAG, PC‑12, B737, Rafale, etc. | |
| Provide technical leadership in special processes such as cold working, hydraulic testing, composite assembly, and PPAP | |
| Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers on assembly‑related queries, drawing clarifications, and non‑conformance resolution. | |
| Coordinate with suppliers for technical issue resolution, condition supply, and compliance to engineering requirements. | |
| Participate in customer meetings, reviews, audits, and issue‑closure discussions. | |
| Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer standards, and internal QMS requirements. | |
| Lead EBOM/MBOM preparation, maintenance, and configuration control aligned with engineering changes. | |
| Drive RCCA, root‑cause analysis, and preventive actions to improve assembly quality and first‑pass yield. | |
| Lead, mentor, and develop assembly engineering teams, ensuring capability building and skill development. | |
| Coordinate closely with Program Management, Quality, Configuration, Planning, and Manufacturing teams for seamless execution. |
| Education | B.Tech / BE / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech preferred) | |
| Experience | 18-20 years of experience in Aerospace Assemblies | |
| Industry Preference | Aerospace-Assembly Divisions | |
Reporting to Head of Engineering.
Level & Band : L6/L5 - Managerial.
