S. No. Key Responsibilities
1 Financial planning and strategy: including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
2 Accounting : Proper Accounting, Book higine, DoA compliance, Audit support both internal & Statutory, reconcilliations, timely books closing
3 Financial reporting: ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This entails preparing financial statements, regulatory compliance, and communicating financial results. 
4 Financial analysis: conducting financial analysis to provide insights into the division's performance, profitability, and efficiency, including assessing the financial impact of business decisions.
5 Capex controlling inter-alia including cost-benefit analysis, Payback/NPV/IRR monitoring, Project financials monitoring and reporting inter-alia IRR tracking on minimum quarterly basis.
6 Compliance and governance: ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal governance policies, including implementing and maintaining effective internal controls.
7 Leverage technology including SAP/ other tools to bring efficiency, controls and timely reporting 
8 Provide leadership and guidance to other members of the accounts team.
9 Taxation : GST, Customs, MOOWR, TDS complaince and reporting 
10 Product Pricing, Costing and financial evaluation

Desired QR
Education  CA (preferably first attempt) / MBA-Finance (full time and only from top 10-15 universities)
Experience 15+ years in manufacturing sector.  Experience in finance controller role, MIS, Budgeting, Business commercial preferred.  Should have expereince of managing small teams indepentely.  
Industry Preference Manufacturing organisation with SAP 
Defence Manufacturing preferred

Preference:
  i) Pvt Sector Defence company
 ii) Organisation with t/o > 1,000 cr with past growth trend in each of last 3 years
