You will be responsible for handling daily claims, conducting in-depth problem analysis both in-house and on-field, and maintaining the highest standards of service quality. Your role includes managing and executing comprehensive MIS reports, particularly focusing on I and 3 MIS data, which are crucial for operational insight and management decisions.

Close collaboration with the COE (Center of Excellence) counterparts will be essential to align processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Frequent dealer visits will be part of your routine, where you will provide training, support Joint Investigations (JI), and participate in performance assessments such as MQRS and JD Power scores to uphold brand excellence.

You will diligently maintain the R/1000 metrics, striving to deliver exceptional quality while minimizing Cost Per Unit (CPU). Another key aspect will be releasing detailed Concern Closing Reports (CCR), ensuring all issues are thoroughly addressed and documented. Your proactive approach in handling Service Claim Reports (SCJR) and related responsibilities will contribute significantly to optimizing warranty processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a solid background of 2 to 5 years' professional experience, preferably within the automotive industry. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech) is essential to support the technical nature of the role. Experience in warranty analysis, quality control, and service claim management will be highly valuable.

Demonstrated success in problem-solving within manufacturing or automotive service environments will help you thrive in this position. Familiarity with data analysis, report generation, and stakeholder collaboration will facilitate effectiveness in your daily tasks. Proven ability to work under pressure, handle multiple responsibilities, and engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external dealers is important to achieve deliverables.

Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean, will be considered a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to conduct trainings, prepare reports, and interact with various internal and external stakeholders.

Industry Preferred

This position is preferably suited for candidates with expertise in the Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sector or tier-one automotive suppliers. Experience working in these industries will equip candidates with the necessary understanding of complex manufacturing and service processes, warranty management systems, and customer satisfaction protocols prevalent in automotive environments.

Knowledge of industry compliance standards, quality benchmarks, and automotive customer service expectations will enable the successful candidate to align seamlessly with Mahindra's commitment to excellence. Exposure to last-mile mobility solutions or light commercial vehicles would enhance the candidate's adaptability to the specific demands and product specifications within the Mahindra Last Mile Mobility business unit.

Qualifications

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, reflecting the technical depth necessary for analyzing warranty claims, service processes, and performance metrics. Candidates should have completed their education from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in engineering principles relevant to automotive systems.

Professional certifications related to quality management, problem-solving techniques, or automotive service methodologies are advantageous, though not mandatory. Continuous learning and keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements are encouraged to maintain high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

General Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to foster strong relationships with dealers, COE teams, and cross-functional colleagues. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively are key attributes.

Candidates should be adaptable, open to feedback, and skilled in managing multiple priorities simultaneously. High proficiency in data management, report preparation, and communication tools is required to deliver comprehensive insights and facilitate informed decision-making.

While this role does not require travel, flexibility and willingness to engage in dealer visits and on-site investigations are part of the responsibilities. Familiarity with automotive warranty management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems will be beneficial.
