Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Deputy Manager - Paint Shop at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will oversee and coordinate all daily operations of the paint shop within the manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the production of high-quality painted components efficiently while maintaining stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You will lead the execution of production schedules, monitor key performance indicators, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational productivity.

Additional key deliverables include ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality assurance protocols. Education Qualification

The ideal candidate should possess a solid educational background with either a Bachelor's degree in Technology or a relevant Engineering Diploma. Degrees in fields such as Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes or paint technologies, will be advantageous.

In addition to formal qualifications, certifications related to Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), or Quality Management Systems (like Six Sigma or ISO standards) will be considered valuable, as they reflect commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Proven expertise in orchestrating production planning and scheduling, overseeing maintenance protocols, and managing performance metrics is critical to succeed in this role. Experience working in industries adhering to strict regulatory compliance, health and safety standards, and quality assurance frameworks will be highly valued.

Prior experience in implementing and sustaining Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs, process optimisation projects, and cost-control initiatives will support continuous operational improvement efforts. Candidates with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, foster workplace safety culture, and drive accountability at all levels will excel in this position.
