Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee in the Engine Assembly department, you will be entrusted with hands-on responsibilities that are crucial to the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensuring comprehensive documentation of engine assembly operations. Additionally, you will support the engineering team by assisting in the analysis and resolution of assembly issues, contributing to process improvements and quality assurance initiatives.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gain exposure to various stages of engine assembly, learning to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges. This role requires active participation in team meetings, reporting progress, and adhering strictly to safety and quality standards set by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
- Through continuous learning and application, you will develop critical skills in mechanical assembly processes, troubleshooting techniques, and data management. This role also involves maintaining equipment and tooling for engine assembly, supporting preventive maintenance schedules, and abiding by environmental sustainability practices embedded in the company’s operations.
- Expect to engage in training programs and workshops aimed at fostering your professional growth within the manufacturing division, equipping you with the practical expertise necessary for a successful career in engineering manufacturing.

Education Qualification
- Graduates holding a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in relevant disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.
- The educational background should demonstrate a solid foundation in core engineering principles, with academic exposure to subjects covering materials science, thermodynamics, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design. Candidates should possess an eagerness to translate their academic knowledge into practical, real-world applications within the manufacturing sector.
- While this is an entry-level position designed for fresh graduates, successful applicants will be those who have demonstrated consistent academic performance and a proactive approach to learning during their studies. Participation in technical projects, internships or any relevant extracurricular activities that highlight interest and aptitude for manufacturing technologies will be highly valued.
General Experience

Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes gained through academic projects, internships, or practical industrial exposure, with a willingness to learn and grow in a shop-floor environment.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, assembly operations, quality control practices, safety standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to CAD software and data reporting tools will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and adapt to a dynamic, agile work environment.
