Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

 Very good understanding of Sheet metal Stamping process , Fabrication process.

To be Proficient in Supplier Audits, structured problem-solving methods, QC Tools, hypothesis testing.

To be Adept in managing the overall department activities involving resource planning, in-process, incoming inspection, conducting JPTR, team building and co-ordination with internal / external departments.

Good knowledge of Welding, BIW FTG, Proprietary parts FTG. Door Sash & CCB

Required CAD and IGS drawing understanding .

Required very good awareness of Tool/fixture buyoff at tool maker and home line trials

Very good understanding of GD&T and first principal inspection., Standards of Measurement ( Limits, Fits, and Tolerances  Linear Measurements ,Angular Measurements), CMM Inspection awareness,

Liaison with CDMM STA / SQE by communicating the supplier non-conformances and ensure the action plan through 8D/SCAP format. Monitor the effectiveness of the action taken.

Conduct detailed analysis of internal and field failure to establish root cause.

Improve DOL (Green & Red channel) and supplier performance

Monitor & improve component Audit process

Standardize & upgrade Supplier inspection methods .
