Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager - System Software Validation with expertise in Automotive Embedded Systems, Electric Vehicles, Telematics, Mobile Applications, Web Portals, and Instrument Clusters. The role involves validating software features, ensuring system reliability and performance, and delivering high-quality vehicle software solutions across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute software validation plans, test strategies, test cases, and validation reports for automotive embedded systems.
- Establish end-to-end traceability between system requirements, software requirements, and validation test cases.
- Validate Electric Vehicle (EV) ECUs, including:
- Battery Management System (BMS)
- Vehicle Control Unit (VCU)
- Charging Systems
- Perform end-to-end validation of connected vehicle and telematics functionalities, including:
- Remote Immobilization
- Vehicle Tracking
- Geofencing
- Vehicle Health Monitoring
- Notification Services
- Validate Android and iOS mobile applications integrated with vehicle telematics platforms.
- Perform functional, integration, usability, and performance testing of web portals and fleet management platforms.
- Validate instrument cluster software features and diagnostic tools.
- Execute LabCar and vehicle-level validation activities to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Analyze CAN communication logs and support issue investigation, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Support software integration, defect tracking, regression testing, and release validation activities.
- Prepare Design Verification Plans (DVP), DVPR documents, test reports, and release validation reports.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE software quality processes and standards.
- Collaborate with Software Development, System Engineering, Mobile Application, Cloud, and Integration teams to achieve validation objectives.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve validation efficiency and test coverage.
Experience
0-3 years experience with B.E / B.Tech
3-6 years experience with Diploma
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
General Requirements
Required Technical Skills:
Embedded Software Validation in Automotive Domain.
Electric Vehicle Systems (BMS, VCU, Telematics , Mobile Applications,Web, Charging Systems).
Tools:
Vector CANoe/CANalyzer
CAPL
Polarion
Python Automation
Preferred experience:
Experience in EV, Telematics, or Connected Vehicle Programs.
Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262.
Experience in Vehicle Integration and Validation.
Soft Skills

Strong documentation and reporting skills.
