Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Testing Lead to drive end-to-end vehicle validation and testing activities across the product development lifecycle. The role is critical in ensuring vehicle performance, reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction through comprehensive validation under real-world operating conditions.
As the validation owner, you will act as the key link between engineering, quality, manufacturing, and testing teams, ensuring that design intent is successfully translated into production-ready products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead end-to-end vehicle validation activities from concept to production and field feedback stages.
- Participate in benchmarking, target setting, Digital Mock-Up (DMU) reviews, and validation planning.
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans aligned with program milestones.
- Coordinate and drive vehicle testing activities through internal teams and external agencies.
- Identify, analyze, and escalate system-level issues, ensuring timely resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide physical validation of vehicle performance, bridging the gap between simulation results and real-world usage.
- Support Engineering Sign-Off (ESO) activities and program readiness reviews.
- Contribute to production ramp-up support and field failure investigations.
- Drive closure of validation concerns and ensure alignment between design, manufacturing, and quality functions.
- Monitor validation risks, testing bottlenecks, and resource requirements to support successful program delivery.
