Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Receiving Incoming Goods: Unloading deliveries, verifying packing lists against purchase orders (POs), and inspecting for damage or shortages.
- Material Identification & Sorting: Categorizing raw materials (e.g., steel, alloys) and components (e.g., engine parts, fasteners) and storing them in designated, labelled locations.
- Stock Recording & Accuracy: Updating ERP systems (such as SAP) or manual registers on a daily basis to ensure accurate physical stock matches records.
- Stock Taking & Audits: Conducting daily/weekly cycle counts and monthly physical verifications to manage discrepancies.
- Inventory Levels Maintenance: Managing minimum and maximum stock levels of raw materials and consumables (e.g., welding rods, tools) to prevent shortages.
