Deputy Manager - Engine Machining CME

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Planning and execution of New Engine Machining Facility at Multilocations - Igatpuri, Pune, Indore etc.
• Planning of Process, Layout & Logistics.
• Process automatiom concept development & implementation.
• Plant layout & Process layout design with industrial standards.
• APQP & PPAP documents (PFC,PFMEA,CP,DFMEA,MFMEA,DAP) - preparation / Updation.
• Regular interaction with stakeholders for smooth implementation & hand over.
• Knowledge of SPMs like Pressing, Leak Testing, Washing, Torquing etc.
• Aware of Machine bought out makes & application suitability.
• Ensure trial parts availability for acceptance & prove-out trials. Trial parts handling, logistics, documentation regulations awareness.
• Regular interaction with suppliers to ensure on time receipt of equipment.
• Preparation of RFQ, scope of supply, technical finalisation including occupational safety new assy line.
• Ensure all the safety during Unloading,  installation of equipment.
• Ensuring smooth Productionizing of new product & applicable quality standards as per plan.
• Ensure active participation of employees in QC stories, OIT, CIT, Kaizens etc and Cost innovations.
• Ensuring zero defect, on-time delivery, Troubleshooting & improvements - First time right.
• Ensure 100% handing over of documents / drawings to plant engg team.
• Handing over of all consumables with Mahindra part no & with updated drawings / specifications. 

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 
Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile 
Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 

General Experience

2 to 8 years of relevant experience in Engine Machining, Production Assembly line.
