Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management and technical evaluation of critical TCF (Trim, Chassis & Fittings) equipment including Assembly and Intershop Conveyors, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, Manipulators, Engine and Rear Axle decking systems, as well as diverse lifting and handling devices.
- Involvement in Request for Quotation (RFQ) and scope preparation, alongside conducting supplier technical evaluations to ensure procurement of high-quality equipment that aligns with project requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Machinery Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (MFMEA) for all relevant equipment to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead design approval processes, ensuring designs meet the project specifications and monitoring progress through detailed project tracking systems to deliver on timeline commitments.
- Installation and commissioning duties emphasize rigorous adherence to schedules while managing punch item lists and ensuring no critical project deliverables are missed.
- Effective coordination with suppliers and plant teams is paramount to address and resolve any issues arising during equipment installation and commissioning phases.
- The role also demands the execution and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance (PM), time-based maintenance (TBM), and condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs for the equipment.
- Providing hands-on support to the production departments for day-to-day smooth functioning and rapid resolution of equipment-related concerns.
- Supporting project implementation across multiple plant locations without constraints related to the base location.
- Knowledge in associated disciplines such as civil engineering, electrical systems, and automation technologies related to equipment.
- Promote innovation and design accuracy, familiarity with simulation software, 3D modelling tools, and CATIA design software is highly beneficial.
