Deputy Manager - Process Engineering

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Product feasibility and Process Flow analysis and study for vehicle assembly and feed back to R&D.
  • Simulation through Delmia/Tools configuration finalization.
  • Assembly process planning of Trims, chassis and final assembly in digital mfg.
  • Assembly fixture design, designing small tools using concept knowledge and sequence.
  • Technical Analysis and Comparisons amongst different Suppliers.
  • Integrating respective functional area (Vehicle Assembly) for a project.
  • Providing functional area deliverables including respective Manufacturing process.
  • Identification and resolves issues. Ensuring implementation of Process Driven Product Designs (Mfg Requirements) and manufacturable parts.
  • Preparing the manufacturing Strategy for the New product development.
  • Capital budget Preparation and Optimising the budget based on Product assumptions and Process Synergies.
  • Understanding of the New Product based on PALS and PDB.
  • Conducting Virtual builds to chack the Issues upfront based on the packaging.
  • Lead role in Develop and Establish the Process planning to Activities DCP Documentation.
  • Ensuring the Digitalisation and Standardisation of all the Project Activities, all the MPDS - Gate ways requirements (Mfg related requirements).
  • Ensuring Sustainable packaging and Logistics cost Optimisation by Increasing the Qty / trolley.
  • Developing Line and Logistics layout by convincing the required stake holders.
  • FTG and Spares planning, Procurement and Establishing to Mfg the new product.
  • Developing Engineering Specification Test facilities and Smooth Ramup of the Required vol / shift.
  • Addressing manufacturing concerns by Establishing Ergonomics standards.
  • Prepare and follow PFMEA/MFMEA of Equipments. Design Approval of required systems with Project tracking.
  • Supports production department for day to day activites and smooth implementation of Installed Equipment.
  • Should be flexible for implementation of project at multiple plant locations.

5 - 10 years of experience in TCF Assembly, Production, Plant Engineering, 

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile / Production
Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile / Production 
Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile / Production
