Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Define the process for new line/ project / shop from start to end
  •  Able to change process as expected from time to time in existing setup for improvement / simplification of process
  • To ensure safe working at shops with Proactive approach and taking actions accordingly
  • Very good in DWM and able to monitor parameters in PDCA cycle and conitnues efforts to improve on it
  • Able to guide team to improve perfomance to next level year on year
  • Collaborative working with MLL for ensuring / Streamlining Logistics Processes
  • To ensure robust system for material accounting and ensuring the same on daily basis
  • Inventory management with holistic approach and ensure zero variance
  • Responsible for day to day Logistics operation and need to estabslish system to ensure no loss due to line feeding and also no surprise shortage due to error in material accounting
  • Need to ensure no line loss due to wrong maerial feeding by ensuring No fault forward in logistics area
  • Need to ensure no quality defect gets generated to material feeding/ storage by ensuring No fault forward in logistics area
  • Able to understand need of Material preservation and need to maintain the same by following Mahindra Quality System guidelines
  • Able to prepare the Layouts for Logistics area considering lean principles
  • Able to deal with blue collar and work alongwith them for improvement in Productivity, Quality and to ensure discipline in operation
  • Define the statergy and Targets for Productivity, Quality, Cost and delivery parameters and achieve the same by leading the team
  • Able to drive project for GREEN logistics
  • Act as analyst : prepare MIS, conduct analysis and take projects for Logistics improvements
  • Project management for Cost saving projects and transit damage reduction projects
