Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Manager-Tooling Proveout & DM Engg at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for studying past projects Quality and Preparation of BIW Quality target for sign off. You will also provide Manufacturing feasibility reports for each data release and preliminary Datums for all panels/Sub assembly.

Other responsibilities include:

• Providing radius and hole clearance inputs and design gap in the product design
• Performing stack ups for critical items such as seats fitment, cradle, IP, etc.
• Preparing each MPDS Gateway audit
• Checking fixture methodology of Body (All incoming) and Vehicle critical parts
• Preparing cling plan for each station
• Approving welding fixtures as per Geometry standard
• Conducting quality slow build trials in the Plant during TTO
• Proving out VP0 Quality during TTO
• Proving out VP/PP/SOP Quality
• Preparation of dimensional issues during BIW TTO and perform RCA
• Sustaining BIW Quality until SOP+6 months

To be considered for this position, you must be a

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile / E&E
Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile / E&E 
Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 
 

General Experience

As a Manager-Tooling Proveout & DM Engg, you should have a general experience of 7-12 years in the field.

This experience should include expertise in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), manufacturing feasibility analysis, fixture design, and root cause analysis.
