Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As an integral member of the Farm Division at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a crucial role in devising and implementing the state-level strategic framework that complements our company's overarching goals. Your core responsibilities will comprehensively cover:

  • Performing exhaustive environmental analyses that encompass both internal operational assessments and external market evaluations, supported by thorough data analytics to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Converting strategic priorities into targeted and measurable initiatives across key verticals including product positioning and relevance, innovative promotional campaigns, efficient retail management, and optimized channel and dealer engagement.
  • Leading capacity building efforts by conducting tailored training programmes aimed at elevating dealer and internal team competencies, fostering alignment with evolving business objectives and industry standards.
  • Implementing, supervising, and enhancing state-wide execution plans that reinforce corporate strategy, utilizing global insights combined with local market intelligence to drive effective actions.
  • Ensuring rigorous project management discipline in the delivery of key objectives for each vertical, adhering strictly to defined timelines, quality expectations, and resource management best practices.
  • Maintaining vigilant awareness of competitor tactics and emerging sector opportunities, allowing agile adaptation of strategies to expand market presence and safeguard competitive advantages.
  • Setting, monitoring, and exceeding ambitious targets related to volume sales, distribution of spares, and other strategic business indicators, underscoring rigorous analysis of market trends and customer requirements.
  • Conducting regular, comprehensive monthly performance reviews with Area Managers and key dealer partners using standardized frameworks to evaluate progress, resolve operational challenges, and dynamically refine the approach.
