Graduate Agri Trainee - Sales

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Manage and oversee a network of dealerships to meet and exceed key business objectives, including volume targets, market share improvements, collections, timely deliveries, and aftermarket spares part sales.
- Develop and maintain a viable distribution network by strategically appointing new dealers and sub-dealers ensuring optimal market coverage and accessibility.
- Ensure dealerships are staffed with adequately trained and motivated personnel to support sales and service operations effectively.
- Provide hands-on facilitation, coaching, and guidance to dealers and their teams for the successful implementation of operational systems such as MSS and Panchatantra, ensuring adherence to standardized processes.
- Monitor and support the establishment of proper service infrastructure at dealerships, driving the deployment of service systems designed to elevate customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute localized sales promotion campaigns, product launches, and dealer activation events aimed at enhancing brand visibility and increasing sales conversions.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for dealer sales staff focusing on pre-sales consultation, sales techniques, new product features, updates and modifications, to improve their proficiency and customer engagement.
- Regularly monitor competitor activities to gather actionable market intelligence; capture and analyze feedback on competitor and company product performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Design, develop, and implement customized incentive schemes for dealers that motivate performance, drive strategic goals, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Establish and maintain effective liaisons with financial institutions and banks to explore and expand avenues for retail financing options, facilitating increased product accessibility for customers.
The position requires proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and leadership skills to drive business growth within the designated territory.
Experience

Industry Preferred
Preferred industry experience includes:
- Agricultural machinery and farm equipment sectors, with exposure to dealer network management and sales operations.
- Automotive industry, particularly with companies engaged in distribution and retail network development.
- Heavy equipment or machinery sectors where field sales and service network management are critical.
- Financial services related to retail financing of vehicles or machinery, enhancing understanding of credit facilitation processes.
Candidates with a background in these industries will bring relevant skills and insights, enabling them to hit the ground running and contribute effectively towards achieving business goals.
