Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As a Territory Manager - Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for managing a set of dealerships to achieve business parameters like volumes, market share, collection, deliveries, spares part sales, etc. Your role will involve ensuring a viable distribution network by appointing dealers and sub-dealers for appropriate market coverage. You will also be tasked with ensuring the availability of trained manpower in adequate quantity at dealerships, facilitating and coaching dealers and their staff for the implementation of various systems, and driving the implementation of service systems to enhance customer satisfaction. In addition, you will execute events like local level sales promotion campaigns and product launches, train dealer salesmen on pre-sales and sales processes, and track competitor activities to capture feedback on performance.
Experience
The ideal candidate for this position will be an engineering graduate with about 4 to 7 years of experience or a Diploma holder with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. You should have a strong background in sales and dealership management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering strong dealer relationships. Additionally, experience in the automotive or farm machinery industry will be a distinct advantage.
Industry Preferred
Experience in the automotive or farm machinery industry is highly preferred for this role. Candidates with a deep understanding of the market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor landscape within the sector will excel in this position. Knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment will be beneficial in effectively engaging with dealers and driving business growth.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Territory Manager - Sales position, you must be an engineering graduate with about 4 to 7 years of experience or a Diploma holder with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for effectively liaising with dealers and financial institutions. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is preferred to streamline sales processes and manage customer relationships efficiently.
