Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key responsibilities will include maintaining and overseeing various utility systems such as D G Sets, Compressors, Water Pumps, Acs, Fans, Lights, Material Handling Equipment (MHEs), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and plant civil maintenance. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance related to PCB/electrical safety/factory act pertaining to utilities, monitoring and improving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, implementing energy conservation initiatives, driving safety improvements, and managing new installations and commissioning projects.

Experience

B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 6-8 years or 10+ years of relevant experience respectively. Candidate should have a strong background in electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as a proven track record in managing utility systems efficiently.

Industry Preferred

Experience in the automobile industry is preferred for this position. Candidates with exposure to the unique challenges and requirements of the automotive manufacturing sector will be at an advantage in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications

Candidate should possess a Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. In addition to academic qualifications, relevant certifications in electrical safety, maintenance, or related fields will be beneficial. Practical knowledge and experience in handling a variety of utility systems will be essential for excelling in this role.

Effective team and contractor management capabilities, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance operations.

<p-Clear and concise communication skills, adept at reporting, documentation, and engaging with non-technical stakeholders effectively. <p-Digital proficiency in utility data analysis and basic IT skills for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes. <p-Ability to adapt to evolving best practices, new technologies, and organizational changes to drive continuous improvement. <p-Understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, including sustainable practices, waste reduction, and resource optimization to align with organizational goals. <p-Familiarity with ESG reporting and knowledge of green building standards such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). <p-Commitment to ethical maintenance practices that consider community impact, worker safety, and responsible resource management. <p-Strict adherence to legal compliance standards, environmental regulations, permits, and workplace safety codes to mitigate legal risks and ensure operational integrity.
