You will liaise effectively with third-party vendors to oversee outsourced maintenance tasks, ensuring they are executed within agreed timelines and meet quality standards.
  • Your responsibilities include comprehensive oversight of the spare parts lifecycle: from procurement and appropriate storage to meticulous tracking of consumption, aimed at optimizing inventory levels and minimizing equipment downtime. A critical part of your role will be conducting thorough root cause analyses of recurrent equipment failures, designing, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance reliability.
  • You will systematically monitor key performance indicators such as Request for Information (RFI), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), leveraging these metrics to drive continuous improvement in maintenance performance.
  • Planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules on an annual, monthly, and weekly basis will be essential, ensuring alignment with production targets and compliance with safety requirements.
  • Compliance management is vital to this role; you will ensure all maintenance operations strictly adhere to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards through rigorous documentation and operational practices.
  • Maintaining precise and up-to-date records—including maintenance logs, history sheets, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists—is essential to supporting audit readiness and enhancing traceability.
  • Championing digitalisation initiatives will be part of your remit to foster a data-driven maintenance culture, enhancing process transparency and supporting sustainability objectives.
  • Leading energy efficiency projects will enable you to contribute directly to reducing energy consumption, aligning with the organisation's environmental sustainability goals.
  • A strong safety culture is paramount; you will enforce strict compliance with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, Working At Heights (WAH) practices, and conduct regular safety meetings to instil best practices across the maintenance teams.
  • Implementing operational excellence tools including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S workplace organisation, Kaizen continuous improvement methodologies, and Poka-Yoke error-proofing techniques will be integral to enhancing equipment reliability and fostering disciplined work environments.
