Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1) Operation and Maintenance of electrical utility like HT Transformers, HT &LT switchgears like VCB,ACB, Protections relays, DG set,  Air compressors, Legal compliances.
2)  ENCON Initiatives and drive at plant level.
3) Power & fuel Budgeting & Cost workout at plant level
4)  Electrical Safety , Legal Applicability , IE Rules , CEA Regulation, factory rules  as applicable, Liasoning with PWD Electrical Inspectorate.
5) Power Planning and scheduling & monitoring EMS system and deriving consumption reports
6) Power cost reduction though OA and various projects with central coordination.

General Requirements

SAP knowledge, Microsoft Excel and power point , Having valid  Electrical supervisor licence or eligible for supervisor licence.

Education Qualification

BE/Btech (electrical engineer)

General Experience

3-8 Years

Critical Skills

1) Electrical Safety improvement , O & M skills of Electrical switchgears , Lock out Tag Out , RE Power , Power scheduling and budgeting, Focus on reduction of Power cost by absorbing OA Power from Grid, Legal compliance, Maintenance scheduling, Spares management, Development of maintenance systems, Project planning and execution, manpower planning, Attending breakdown.
2) Knowledge of HT& LT installations ,Power Quality Analysis, Battery and Battery chargers, Power Factor control Panels,UPS.
3) Electrical Maintenance & operations of Electrical substations, preferably 22 kV, 11 kV HT distribution system, LT distribution system etc with Safe Working Procedures. Fault finding and root cause analysis.
4)  Project Implementation + Costing - Knowledge of implementing new projects and its planning & budgeting
5) Electrical Safety Mgmt System - Knowledge of various safety equipment’s, work permit system, Earthing etc. LOTO
6) Energy Mgmt. - Saving and conservation of energy  at plant level
7) Planning and budgeting of capital and revenue budget.
8) Knowledge of TPM, Electricity rules  ISO-14000.
