AM/DM - Housing Machining TM PU

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

'-Efficient  management of production operations of Housing  machining cell. 
-Production Planning and sequencing to achieve daily production plan, for optimum output and daily schedule adherence. 
-Manpower & machines/stages planning.
-Machining Process trouble shooting
-Responsible for tool cost reduction as per set targets
-Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ Rejection/ throwback
-Strong focus on "Daily work Management"                               
-Drive and implement management systems and initiatives such as TPM, 5s, KAIZEN.
-Good industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment and maintain good ER and develop the skill of the associates.
-Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices 
-Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained
-Regular interaction with SQA, PPC, Maintenance and Quality to deliver the Production and Quality targets.
-Ensuring system adherance under TS16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
-Responsible for process development and improvement in the existing processes for improving the Productivity, Quality, Delivery and reducing Cost with high customer centric approach.

BE/Btech in Mechanical/Production

General Experience

4-6 years

'- Should have general knowledge of automobiles
- Should know basic manufacturing processes
- Should be ready to work in shifts on shop floor.
- Should be open to learning new processes and systems

Functional Competencies:
-Knowledge & Experience of machining processes such as Grinding  , Turning , gear cutting etc.
-Must have hands on experience of machines- Grinding machines , CNC turning lathes , Gear hobbing , Gear Shaving etc.
-Knowledge & experience of CNC Part Programing
-Knowledge & experience of Cutting tools & toolings
-Knowledge of Fixturing and part measurement instruments
-Time study & work measurement techniques
-System knowledge of TS16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
-Knowledge of Pokayoke, SPC and MSA techniques
-Knowledge & hands on experience on 5s & TPM methodology
