Asst Manager- Gear & Shaft Line, TMPU

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

-Efficient  management of production operations of Gear & shaft line machining cell. 
-Production Planning and sequencing to achieve daily production plan, for optimum output and daily schedule adherence. 
-Manpower & machines/stages planning.
-Ensure line balancing and takt time compliance.
-Machining Process trouble shooting, Breakdown and Root Cause Analysis Reports.
-Responsible for tool cost reduction as per set targets
-Ensure adherence to quality standards and zero-defect culture.
-Monitor in-process inspection and final quality compliance.
-Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ Rejection/ throwback
-Strong focus on "Daily work Management"                               
-Drive and implement management systems and initiatives such as TPM, 5s, KAIZEN.
-Good industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment and maintain good ER and develop the skill of the associates.
-Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices 
-Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained
-Regular interaction with CME, SQA, PPC, Maintenance and Quality to deliver the Production and Quality targets.
-Ensuring system adherance under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018.
-Responsible for process development and improvement in the existing processes for improving the Productivity, Quality, Delivery and reducing Cost with high customer centric approach.
