Position Title: DGM- E-Commerce & Flagship, Accessories
Department: Mahindra Auto Accessories Team
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Reporting To: VP & Head - Merchandising & Accessories Business

Role Overview

As part of the Mahindra Auto Accessories team, the Deputy General Manager (DGM) – E-Commerce & Flagship will lead the digital commerce and flagship retail strategy for Accessories Business. This role is critical in driving online growth, enhancing customer experience, and establishing a strong omnichannel presence. The incumbent will own the e-commerce P&L, manage marketplace operations, and lead flagship store development to strengthen Mahindra’s lifestyle and accessories ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Strategy & Growth

Lead digital commerce strategy across owned platforms and marketplaces.
Drive online sales growth, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition.

P&L Ownership & Performance Management

Own and manage the e-commerce P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
Track key performance metrics and optimize operations for business outcomes.

Marketplace & Digital Operations

Oversee marketplace partnerships and performance across major platforms.
Ensure seamless execution of listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.

Customer Experience & Conversion

Enhance end-to-end customer journey across digital touchpoints.
Drive initiatives to improve user experience, retention, and engagement.

Flagship Store Strategy & Operations

Lead strategy for flagship store development and expansion.
Manage store location identification, feasibility analysis, and rollout planning.

Visual Merchandising & Retail Integration

Oversee in-store visual merchandising to ensure brand consistency and premium experience.
Integrate online and offline channels to deliver a cohesive omnichannel experience.

Cross-functional & Team Leadership

Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and design teams for integrated execution.
Lead and mentor teams across e-commerce operations and flagship retail functions.

Experience

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in e-commerce and marketplace management.
Experience in retail operations and flagship store management.
Proven capability in P&L management and business performance optimization.
Deep understanding of digital customer journeys and conversion metrics.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Effective leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

8–10 years of experience in e-commerce, digital business, or retail operations, preferably in automotive, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven track record of managing online sales channels, marketplaces, and retail formats.
