Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Role Overview

As part of the Mahindra Auto Accessories team, the Manager – Procurement will be responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement operations for accessories merchandise. This role will ensure efficient vendor coordination, timely sourcing, and seamless execution of purchase and delivery processes. The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining supply continuity, quality standards, and operational efficiency across the procurement value chain.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Sourcing & Coordination

Support vendor identification, onboarding, and sourcing activities across accessories categories.
Coordinate with vendors for sampling, pricing, and order confirmations.

Purchase Order Management

Assist in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders.
Ensure adherence to procurement processes and documentation standards.

Delivery & Supply Management

Track delivery schedules and proactively resolve supply and logistics issues.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely product availability.

Data Management & Reporting

Maintain procurement records, documentation, and vendor database.
Update and monitor data using MS Excel and internal systems for accuracy and reporting.

Quality & Compliance Support

Assist in quality inspections, approvals, and adherence to product standards.
Work closely with procurement and product teams to ensure compliance with specifications.

Experience

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of procurement operations and vendor coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel and data tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

4–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles, preferably in retail, lifestyle, or consumer goods industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience working with vendors and managing procurement documentation preferred.
