This position with head the Central Manufacturing Engineering (CME) for Farm Division Manufacturing comprising of 5 Manufacturing location of FD namely Nagpur, Kandivali, Zaheerabad, Jaipur and Rudrapur.
In this role, the position holder will lead a team of 75 employees (4 direct reports). Mfg. engnieering team of Trcator, Tranmission, Hydraulics, Engine along with Industrial Engeering and Machining Assembly Productionization verticals will be lead by the position. Key deliverables:
a) Plan and execute strategy for manufacturing capacity and capability planning in order to meet targets as per Annual Plans
b) Oversee the capex budget for plant and machinery across all departments.
c) Oversee feasibility analysis for new projects

Key Competencies Required:

Driving of projects to ensure market leadership by introduction of new products.

Strategize Facility Creation at Best Conversion Cost Delivering Consistent Quality

Ability to determine & foresee the capability and resource requirements of the manufacturing plant

Driving No Fault Finding initiatives across FD plant to ensure First time right quality

Plan and execute Capex requirements for machinery and equipments-
- Oversee the monitoring of capex requirement
- Prepare annual budget for capex and get necessary approvals
- Oversee implementation (procurement, installation and commissioning) of planned capex investments

Oversee Manufacturing Engineering strategies on capacity planning, make or buy decision, methods, manpower planning. Prepare strategy for capacities and capabilities

Oversee the financial and feasibility analysis for new projects with inputs from manufacturing and finance

Ability to think strategically, synthesize, imagine future technology landscapes and predict future trends in industry

Forward looking, Innovation/ Breakthrough improvements mindset with strong orientation towards creating world class, globaly competent & futuristic Mfg. organisation that is hands-on with best in class Mfg. practises

High level of technical understanding of current and future vehicle systems & manufacturing processes

Ensure statutory and legal compliances for all new manufacturing projects. Liason with State Industrial Development Corporationss and other government bodies for project related activities

- Ensuring benefit in mega project sites

Knowledge and experience on emerging new technologies in tractor industry

Age around 45-50 years/ Experience of 20-25 years

Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
