Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Identify and assess potential markets by conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to develop sustainable channel partner networks that align with company objectives.
- Analyze diverse regional and international markets to pinpoint emerging business opportunities, facilitating strategic expansion and increased market share.
- Drive significant business volume growth through proactive business development initiatives and targeted sales strategies tailored for new market segments.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring continuous engagement, satisfaction, and collaborative approach to maximizing sales potential.
- Conduct detailed market and competitor landscaping to understand industry trends, emerging challenges, and opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Design and implement impactful marketing campaigns, including active participation in agricultural fairs and trade shows to promote brand visibility and product adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless business operations, addressing challenges promptly and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Oversee end-to-end business requirements for channel partners, ensuring alignment with business goals, contractual obligations, and performance metrics to drive overall business success.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on export management, preferably within the agricultural or heavy machinery sectors.
Proven track record in developing and nurturing international business relationships and driving sales growth across diverse global markets.
Experience in navigating complex export regulations and trade compliance to facilitate smooth cross-border transactions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including marketing, logistics, and operations, ensuring cohesive execution of export strategies.
Proficiency in market analysis, competition benchmarking, and the application of relevant export documentation and procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills tailored for engaging with international clients and partners.
Industry Preferred
Preferred industries include Tractor, Farm Machinery, Agro Chemicals, Tyre Manufacturing, Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV), Generator Sets (Genset), and 2 Wheeler Exports.
Candidates with experience in sectors related to agricultural machinery and their ancillary industries will find a particularly relevant environment to apply and expand their expertise.
Experience in export operations and market expansion within these industries is highly advantageous, facilitating quicker assimilation and impact within the role.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) is required, preferably with specialization related to mechanical, agricultural, or industrial engineering disciplines.
Additional qualifications or certifications related to international business, export management, or supply chain may be beneficial, reflecting commitment to continuous professional development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with proficiency in relevant business and communication tools are expected.
