Deputy Manager - Safety & Sustainability

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Implementing initiatives at plant in line with Central sustainability strategy and road map. Data collation, evaluation and submission on GRI parameters.
• Facilitating audits by external agencies. Capability Building on sustainability for employees.
•  Implementation of GSCM as per road map, training suplliers and auditing them on GSCM parameters.
•  Preperation of plant level manual and documents as per system.
• Coordinating with all Departmental Representatives for successful implementation of system.
• Facilitating internal audits and MRMs.
• Driving Initiative for continual improvements.
• Facilitating external audits.
• Updating Licence, Concent and Other documents.
• Monthly Compliance report to Central Team.
•  Knowledge on legal amendments.
•  Providing Induction and Safety Awareness Program to employees.
• Capability Building of Employees for safety system like BBS, SOTs, EHS pillar.
•  Implementing BBS.
• Injury Analysis and taking actions at Plant Level.
•  Identifying specific safety themes to reduce injuries.
•  Conducting safety petrol round.
• Preparing safety manual of department procedures.
• Implementing contractor's safety initiative.
• Implementation of job safety analysis.
• Preperation of monthly MIS at plant and sector level.
• Implementing and driving TPM EHS pillar activities.
• Participation in external EHS award.
• Driving company wide initiatives at plant.
• Driving safety promotional activities accross plant
